The narrow aisle forklift has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the single reach NR and double reach NDR units that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations which meet a range of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.

AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful deceleration and acceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo moved during a shift.

Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering can reduce battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.

Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus really reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable in order to reduce operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.

Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the cargo to its required height.
